Forum Against Free Trade Agreements

Forum Against FTAs was formed in New Delhi in 2008 . The Forum’s objective it to ensure that FTAs do not undermine the rights of the people – farmers, workers, women, dalits, adivasis, patients, small and medium enterprises, cooperatives and hawkers. It seeks to critically examine India’s FTAs and its impact on livelihood rights, labour rights, access to health care and the government’s policy space and strengthen and expand the civil society network to monitor India’s FTAs.
